Laura Dux is a reporter and audio storyteller based in Los Angeles. She has reported stories on people navigatingtheir lives after losing their homes in the Eaton Fire, the Okinawan community in Southern California, and why music plays in a parking lot on Pasadena City College’s campus.
In a previous life, she was telling stories in a slightly different format as an actor. She was in a musical about playing baseball in Japanese internment camps, made a short film about a dating apps where you had to bring your emotional baggage, and performed in a lot of dinner theatre.
She is currently a student at Pasadena City College studying radio broadcast and journalism.
