Laura Dux is a career transition actor/journalist driven by impactful storytelling.

She has reported stories on people navigating their lives after losing their homes in the LA wildfires, the Okinawan community in Southern California, and why music plays in a parking lot on Pasadena City College’s campus.

Before the pandemic, she was telling stories in a slight different format. She was in a musical about playing baseball in Japanese internment camps, made a short film about a dating apps where you had to bring your emotional baggage, and performed in a lot of dinner theatre.
